Reading The DFB Guide to Walt Disney World Dining on Mobile Devices
One of the big advantages of a digital guide like this is the ability to use it on mobile devices. We encourage you to take advantage of this functionality. Here are the steps to take to do so:
Download the PDF File to Your Computer
Even if you don’t plan on reading it on your home computer, you’ll want to download a version there for safe-keeping. The download link you will receive is good for 4 downloads or 72 hours, whichever comes first, so you’ll want to make sure you have it somewhere safe where you can hold onto it. Save it to your computer hard drive so that you’ll know where it is the next time you want to access it.
Syncing Your Guide
Because the Guide is a large file, it’s usually best to download it to your computer and then use your mobile device’s software to sync it, or copy it, onto your device:
For iPhone/iPad/iPod: Simply follow These Simple Instructions from Apple for copying it from your computer.
For Android: First, have a PDF reader from the Android Market on your device — Adobe Reader is a good option. Then copy the guide from your computer to your mobile device via the USB connection. This link gives some instructions to copy the file to your device.
e-Book Readers (Kindle, Nook, etc): These devices have PDF support, but they do something called “Reflowing,” which means they will adapt the text to fit the screen. This may result in some strange looking results.
Kindle Fire: Kindle Fire now offers solid PDF reading ability and the book looks great on it, but some links may not work in this format. Thanks to reader Laura R., we have this info: “I purchased the app “EZ PDF reader” for $2.99. I then loaded your book using that instead of Adobe” and the links worked.
